1982 Suzuki GS 550 Cafe' Project
Our favorite transformation. We found this bike sitting under a car port in Denver. It only has 5000 miles on it, and had a wind jammer, luggage rack, and sissy bar on it. We stripped it down and made a Cafe' Racer out of it. Runs like a brand new bike and my favorite ride of all the bikes we have owned. This was Mandy's bike build, but its too heavy for her for normal rides, so now it MINE!
1972 Honda CL 350 Restoration
We traded a modern motocross bike for this CL, because we fell in love. A little engine work and it runs perfectly. We will wait on this restoration, as it is a good runner and great for a cruise in downtown Manitou Springs while the others are getting restored.
1971 Honda Trail 90 Restoration
Couldn't pass this one up. We all love riding this one around the campsite and at home. Great for the kids to have fun, but will cruise on the side streets just fine! This one runs great, so we will wait on this one for full restoration while we tend to those that can't get along on their own.
1993 Honda CBR 900RR Restoration
One of my dream bikes when I was in college. Powerful, but quick laterally. This bike was found outside in a trailer park, virtually abandoned. It had over a gallon of mud and water in the tank. Full engine cleanup and safety check and now this thing RIPS! This is a diamond in the rough and one of my favorite 90's super bikes!
1969 Honda CL 175 Restoration
We drove over 12 hours overnight to secure this pile of Honda. After picking it up we found it had been crashed and the motor was seized. An engine overbore, new pistons, and full assembly and this will be a new bike. This will be Mandy's run around bike when we go out for the night to our favorite hot spots. Just need to finish it....
1993 Honda CBR 600
The clone of our CBR 900, just smaller and better road manners. This could be the most forgiving 90's road bike ever produced. It is a dream to ride and sexy as hell!
1996 Suzuki GSXR 1100 Restoration
Wow, is all I can say. I wanted a classic GSXR 1100 since 1896 when I saw one In a dealership. Since I am cheap as hell, I had to find one in pieces in a wooden garage in Pueblo, Co. The entire bike is in boxes and buckets, but it WILL come to life! This is my dream project of a lifetime and I will be taking my time to get it exactly right.
2000 Kawasaki ZX-7R
Possibly the single best looking Sport Bike of all time! Again, I am cheap as hell, and bought a $500 stolen and wrecked version that had the ignition broken open and hot wired. Don't worry, the bike was recovered by the insurance company of the owner and sold so its legit, but a pile of #$&%! This one will also take time, but worthy of a second chance at life and one hot ride...literally!
